Sportsbooks: Philadelphia Flyers’ 2023 Stanley Cup chances are historically bad
The odds on the Philadelphia Flyers winning the Stanley Cup in 2022-23 are historically bad. Wynn has the Flyers at 50-1, Caesars, DraftKings and FanDuel at 60- 1, while SuperBook has them at 100-1000.
The Flyers are the longest-shot team in the preseason at 66-1. Last season, they were 30-10 and posted the second-worst season in franchise history. The bookies are predicting a change of management and a rebuild. SBC Summit North America takes place Wednesday and Thursday at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J. It's about 90 minutes by train from Center City. The odds are 7-2, 7/2 to Colorado, 8-5 to Toronto, 10- 1 to Florida, 12/5, 16/1 to Vegas, 18/20 to Calgary, 25/25 to Boston, and 500/1000 to Arizona.
Philadelphia Flyers were 60-1 to win the Stanley Cup in 2015-16. They were 50-2 in 1991-92 and 35-10 in 1994-95. 2017-18 were 40-5 in preseason and made the playoffs. 2007-08 were also 40/1, but made it to the conference finals.
The annual SBC Summit North America takes place Wednesday and Thursday at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J. It's about a 90-minute train ride from Center City. Tickets in advance are $595 for a single-day pass, $795 for both days.
