Patty Mills was a role player for the San Antonio Spurs for seven seasons. He was picked up off the waivers late in the 2012 season. After losing some weight, he broke into the regular rotation for 2013-14 season and played an integral role on their championship team. His most memorable moment came when he hit three threes towards the end of the Game 5 of Finals. He will also be remembered for his contributions away from the court. In his community he was involved in civil rights and was an advocate for people with disabilities. The Spurs are celebrating 50th anniversary this year.
