He is also coming into the NBA season without the stress of expectations. The Spurs have the potential to get back to the postseason and win a few playoff games next season. New York Knicks were predicted to win 22. 5 games and finished with 41-31. They finished 4th in the Eastern Conference. San Antonio has been known to thrive flying under the radar. This allows the Spurs to quietly go about their business toward the beginning of the season and then shock the league when playoff time approaches.
