Jess Jackson bought her and transferred her to Steve. She won the Preakness Stakes 15 days later. In 2009, Rachel Alexandra won a historic win against older male horses in the Woodward Stake. The filly won three consecutive Horse Of The Year awards. Her trainer Steve Amsen saddled two horses that weekend.
