Stephen A. Smith makes NBA All-Star game prediction as ESPN analyst prepares to battle First Take co-star Shannon Sharpe

ESPN star personality Stephan A. Smith is coaching the NBA's 2024 All-Star celebrity game and believes his opponent doesn't stand a chance.

The 56-year-old First Take star is calling a "blowout' against his ESPN colleague Shannon Sharpe in Friday's showdown in the All-Star celebrity game.

The NBA  announced the league's All-Star Celebrity Game participants last week, and Smith is ready to go as the day is finally here.

Smith took to his social media on Friday and shared a video of him calling out Sharpe's quad from his team's practice.

The longtime voice at ESPN called out Sharpe for not being "focused," and that's why he will lose.

"I'm ready. Shannon not dedicated. He is busy doing 'Nightcap' and 'Club Shay Shay'. That's what he's doing.

"He not focused on the game. He's done. He's done before it even starts.

"I feel sorry for Shannon. I feel sorry for him. He is in a world of trouble y'all.

Smith went on to vow that the game would not be competitive and that his team would run away with the score.

"I smell a blowout. I smell a blowout coming!

"I want to apologize to the American public...

"I'm sorry for the blowout that is coming. I sense it.

"Micah Parsons out here shooting 3's. That ain't going to work. Come on y'all.

The game will take place Friday night in Indianapolis to kick off the All-Star Weekend festivities.

ESPN's Cassidy Hubbarth will host the event, and the broadcast will feature play-by-play commentary by Ryan Ruocco alongside NBA analysts Richard Jefferson and Monica McNut.

The famous players in the game include singer Jennifer Hudson, SiR, Grammy-nominated artist AJ McLean, former NBA icon Metta World Peace, current NFL star Micah Parsons, rookie QB phenom CJ Stroud and, as well as social media sensation Kai Cenat.

Each team will include a WNBA star, with Jewell Loyd and Natasha Cloud among the lineup.
