Steve Wilks Not Focusing on Panthers Playoff Odds

They still have control of their playoff destiny thanks to Tampa Bay Buccaneers losing their game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Panthers coach Steve Wilks wants his team to focus on winning football games and not on the playoffs.

The Panthers are 5-9 and have a good chance of making the playoffs. They play the Detroit Lions next week. After that, they play against the Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers beat the Bucs last time. If they lose to the Saints, it probably ends their season. However, if they win all three games, the Panthers can still make the postseason. Tampa Bay has a very easy end to their schedule. They face the Arizona Cardinals next and then play Desmond Ridder's Falcons. Carolina can't bank on Tampa losing more games.
