Summer League Odds: Nuggets-Clippers prediction, odds and pick

The Los Angeles Clippers host the Denver Nuggets late Wednesday night in Las Vegas. Both teams are (1-1) after two games in the NBA Summer League. Denver is coming off of a win against the Cleveland Cavaliers 84-76. The Clippers took down the Memphis Grizzlies in their first game but lost to the Los Los Lakers 83-72.

The Nuggets beat the Cavs by sharing the ball. Four of the five starters scored in double figures. The entire roster is rookies except for Jontay Porter. Matt Mitchell and Christian Braun could play well for the Nuggets. They should cover the spread.

The Clippers lost to the Lakers last night. They were winning at halftime but fell apart in the second half. Brandon Boston Jr. and Jay Scrubb scored 15 each in that game. Reggie Perry led the team in scoring with 17 in their previous game and he should be able to do that again tonight.

Nuggets-Clippers is a close game. The Nuggets have had a few extra days of rest to prepare for this important matchup.
