Suns at Bucks Prediction

The Phoenix Suns pay a visit to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum on Sunday afternoon.

The Phoenix Suns have been in terrific form as they’ve won 12 of their last 16 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after beating the Thunder in a 124-115 home win on Friday. Devin Booker led the team with 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists, Chris Paul added 16 points with six assists, Josh Okogie scored 15 points while DeAndre Ayton and Cam Payne scored 14 points apiece. As a team, the Suns shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 38 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 36 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, but they could shake off the Thunder until late in the fourth quarter where they were finally able to pull away.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks have been on fire as they’ve won 15 of their last 16 games overall and they will be hoping to build on their 13-game win streak after blowing past the Heat in a 128-99 win on Friday. Jrue Holiday led the team with 24 points and seven assists, Bobby Portis added 18 points with 11 rebounds off the bench, Brook Lopez scored 17 points while Grayson Allen chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Bucks shot 48 percent from the field and 19 of 46 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Heat from the start and always looked in control after exploding for 73 points in the first half. Giannis Antetokounmpo returned from injury to play about six minutes before he left the game with another injury.

Looking at the betting trends, the Suns are 6-2 ATS in their last eight Sunday games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team above .600. The Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.

Head to head, the over is 9-2-1 in the last 12 meetings overall, the Suns are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Milwaukee and the Suns are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Suns are still shorthanded as Kevin Durant and Landry Shamet are still out, while the Bucks are keeping an eye on Giannis Antetokounmpo who is listed as doubtful for this one. Here we have two of the hottest teams in the league colliding in what should be the game of the night and you could make an argument for either side here, but even with Antetokounmpo out, I like the Bucks to take care of business at home. The Suns are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Milwaukee and I think that trend continues here as the Bucks get the win and cover.
