Super Rugby: How Darren Coleman took long route back to the Waratahs
Jake's dad and three uncles are all coaches. Jake's late grandfather was a rugby league player. Darren Craig Coleman's father played and then coached. Coleman grew up on a diet of rugby, before falling in love with rugby 15-man game. He is credited with recruiting future Wallaby Justin Harrison to play for the mighty Gold Rats in 1993. He also coached at Southern Cross University in Lismore. His family lives in South West Rocks on the mid-north NSW coast. They all got married in the South-West Rocks Surf Lifesaving Club. The funeral of Darren's Dad was held there.
