Sweet redemption for Sir for Sure in Breeders’ Stakes

Sir for Sure won the $400,400 Breeders’ Stakes at Woodbine on Sunday. Gaston, Duke of Love, Hall of Dreams and Lac Macaza finished second, third and fourth. Dancin in Da”nile finished fourth, but was relegated to seventh for interference in the stretch. Mark Casse added a third Breeder s Stake victory to his name. He also won with Marchfield in 2007 and in 2018 with Neepawa. Sir for sure is 3-1-0 from 8 starts. He is bred and owned by René and Darlene Hunderup.
