Tam McManus is happy with Hibs' involvement in Friday night football trials. He was at Colorado Rapids and Rochester Rhinos. American initiatives to attract new punters to sport were often unsuccessful. Charleston Battery's dog-friendly initiative was a particular disappointment. He's all for trying new things to keep the game attractive. If Friday nights under the lights work, he's for more of that. Clubs need to work hard on attracting punter. These days football faces competition on a Saturday afternoon. Maybe on Friday, they can get exclusivity and attract a better crowd. It's better than Saturday. Hib's will be testing the return of Friday evening football next month.
