Thanksgiving playoff position deadline real for NHL coaches

The expectations for the NHL's teams are higher this season. Pittsburgh, Florida Panthers and Washington Capitals are on the outside looking in. The expectations are lower for Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers and Calgary Flames. Calgary is in a four-way tie for wild card spot in the Western Conference. Nashville Predators are in contention for two wild cards. Calgary are tied with the Nashville Flames for second place in Western conference. They are one point behind the Flames in standings. New York Rangers are playing well. Devils are well-prepared. I don't see them dropping. It's unlikely. iReport.com:
