The ante-post market is out of control. Protektorat won the Betfair Chase at Ascot. A Plus Tard was pulled up.
Harry Skelton's horse Protektorat won the Betfair Chase at Haydock. Protektor at seven is a promising prospect. He can emulate Bristol De Mai's success in the race. There has only been one Irish-trained winner of the Grade 1 since its inauguration in 2005.
A Plus Tard won the Gold Cup at Cheltenham. He was pulled up before three out in the Betfair Chase. Henry de Bromhead is not happy with his performance. A Plus tard has raced twice more than his stablemate Minella Indo. He is expected to race again in March. Sam Hendry is selling horses on the ante-post market.

Jonbon's Arkle price has dropped sharply since Wednesday. State Man was as short as 4-1 for the Champion Hurdle on Sunday. Honeysuckle was only half a point bigger in price for that race. Galopin Des Champs' dive in the King George market is leaving punters short-changed.
