Steve "Jabba" Jones was introduced to Nelson Mandela on a Wales tour in 2004. He didn't play in the match, but he was selected to start against South Africa at the Millennium Stadium five months later. He was playing some of his best rugby of the career at that time. His first cap was in Japan in 2001. Mike Ruddock called him in on Wednesday and he started against the Springboks on Saturday.
