The Kangaroos' Rugby League World Cup wins
Australia are the men's champions at the Rugby League World Cup. They have won 11 of the 15 editions. The only times they missed out were in 1954, 1960, 1972 and 2008. Australia are going for a 12th title in Manchester on Saturday (Sunday AEDT). In the original tournament, the Aussies beat New Zealand, GB and France. In a World Series, Ian Schubert was the top scorer with seven tries. It was also the first rugby league match played at Eden Park. In their sixth straight title, they beat Russia 110-4.
