The PL teams with the most trophies since Abramovich bought Chelsea

Chelsea have won 21 trophies since Roman Abramovich bought the club in 2003. 10 Premier League teams have also won trophies during the same period. Chelsea have a Carabao Cup final against Liverpool later this month. They had won just one title and five domestic cups in 98 years before Abramovitch's arrival.

Tottenham beat Chelsea 2-1 in the 2008 League Cup final at Wembley. Dimitar Berbatov and Jonathan Woodgate scored the goals. Tottenham reached the League cup final again and the Champions League final in 2019.

Middlesbrough won the League Cup in 2004. Steve McClaren's team beat Bolton Wanderers 2-1 at the Millenium Stadium.

Swansea City won the 2013 League Cup against Bradford City. Swansea beat Arsenal and Aston Villa en route to the final. Swansea qualified for European football for the first time.

Birmingham City were relegated from the Premier League in 2011. They won the League Cup in the last minute against Arsenal. Birmingham competed in Europa League the following season, but failed to progress beyond the group stage.

Leicester City won the Premier League title last season. They also won FA Cup and Community Shield. Leicester have won more trophies than any other team since Abramovich bought Chelsea.

Liverpool have been successful since 2003, winning two Champions Leagues, two Club World Cups, the FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield. They lost the Champions League final in 2011 and the title race in 2013. Jurgen Klopp has made Liverpool compete for the biggest honours again since arriving in 2015.

Arsenal won the Premier League title in 2004 but went on an eight-year trophy drought after that. They have won four FA cups and four Community Shields in the last eight years.

Manchester City received heavy investment in 2008 when they were bought out by Sheikh Mansour. They won their first Premier League title in 2012. The Champions League is the only trophy that hasn't brought them success.

Manchester United have won 21 trophies since 2003. They won three consecutive Premier League titles between 2007 and 2009. Their most recent success came in the Europa League final in 2017. Manchester United are not likely to win a trophy this season.
