The RSM Classic 2022 First Look
The RSM Classic returns to Sea Island, Georgia, on Thursday, November 17 through Sunday, Nov 20. It's the ninth event of the 2022/23 PGA Tour season. The tournament was previously known as the McGladrey Classic. David Love III and Zach John both competed in the debut event back in 2010. The R SMC is contested at the beautiful Sea island Golf Club in Georgia.
RSM Classic is held on the Seaside Course and the Plantation Course at the Sea Island Resort. Seasides course is a links course that took inspiration from St. Andrews. Plantations course has marsh and forest and is located at St Simmons Island.
The RSM Classic has been held since 2010. It has three winners since then: Kisner, Austin Cook and Talor Gooch. Robert Streb won the tournament in 2014 and 2020. The tournament has won by a narrow margin in eight of the 11 tournaments. Mackenzie Hughes is the only non-American to have won it. There are lucrative betting odds across the field.
