Michael J. Fox wanted to bring home two props from the Back to the Future trilogy. He wanted the horse Whiskey and the guitar. The guitar scene from "Back to The Future" is one of the most famous in the trilogy and Fox worked hard to get it right. He had a guitar teacher and a choreographer for Madonna who helped him incorporate guitar moves from his favorite players. It's not a surprise that he wanted Marty's guitar after working so hard on the scene.
