Thoroughbreds Prove 'A Good Escape' For Teen Battling Chronic Illness

Taylor Logan, 18, has a chronic pain syndrome. She was diagnosed with it nearly three years ago. Thoroughbreds at Woodbine are wearing orange and white silks with her initials on the front. They are the colours of Elliott Logan's stable. The silk is a fashion statement for the month of November. It was created in response to Taylor's diagnosis. Taylor was lucky enough to get an early diagnosis and treatment. Her condition is chronic and can be long-term. Elliott's jockeys ride the silky for him. He has no children.
