Tiger Woods left everyone in stitches with x-rated response to fan's Masters bet

Tiger Woods left the whole golf course in tears of laughter with his x-rated response to one fan making a bet on him at the Masters.

It was a fairytale return to the top for Woods in 2019 when he won the Masters against the odds amid his struggles with back injuries.

It would have taken a brave man to bet on the golfing legend at the time - but that is exactly what one lucky punter did.

And not just a bit of spare change, whacking on a sweltering $85,000 on Woods to win the Masters.

However, James Adducci went one further and lumped $100,000 on him to win the Grand Slam at odds of 100/1 - though that one did not come through as he failed to make the cut at the PGA Championship.

On the Friday of the tournament as he was about to tee-off, someone can be heard asking the 15-time Major winner what he thought of the wager.

"F****** good bet," he replied, sparking wild laughter around him.

Before drawing further giggles from the crowd by saying: "Dumb a** for the Grand Slam part, though."

Woods had not won the Masters since 2005 before claiming victory in 2019, his fifth victory at Augusta.

It meant it was quite an audacious bet to make, especially after the many injury problems the then-43-year-old was suffering from.

However, he shot a 13-under to claim the green jacket by one shot - setting a record for the longest span in between victories at 14 years.

Upon winning the Masters, Woods let out a huge roar to an adoring crowd before celebrating with his children.

"I'm a little hoarse from yelling," he said after.

"I was just trying to plod my way around all day then all of a sudden I had the lead.

"Coming up 18 I was just trying to make a five. When I tapped in I don't know what I did, I know I screamed.

"To have my kids there, it's come full circle. My dad was here in 1997 and now I'm the dad with two kids there.

"It will be up there with one of the hardest I've had to win because of what has transpired in the last couple of years."
