The Miami Dolphins have the inside track for the AFC’s top playoff seed while the Tennessee Titans are all but eliminated from the postseason ahead of their matchup on Monday night. The Dolphins have blown out a number of teams this year. Miami is favored by two touchdowns.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET Monday at Hard Rock Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

The Dolphins (9-3) feature the NFL’s most explosive offense. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been impressively efficient, completing 70 percent of his passes for more than 3,400 yards and 24 touchdowns. Tyreek Hill (12 TD receptions) and Jaylin Waddle power a formidable receiving corps.

The Dolphins’ ground game is just as impressive. Raheem Mostert leads the league with 14 rushing touchdowns, and De’Von Achane has seven scores of his own. Miami’s 22 rushing scores nearly match Tagovailoa’s output.

Tennessee fired special teams coordinator Craig Aukerman after that unit’s dismal performance in a 31-28 overtime loss against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13. The offense hasn’t been anything to write home about this season, either. The 28 points against the Colts tied a season-high; their 17.8 points per game ranks 25th in the NFL.

Rookie quarterback Will Levis replaced longtime starter Ryan Tannehill midseason and has proven to be a slight upgrade, but running back Derrick Henry remains the focal point of the offense.

The Titans’ defense held firm inside the red zone against the Colts; it didn’t allow Indianapolis to score in four trips inside the 10-yard line. That unit will have to pull the same trick if the Titans hope to score a win before closing the season against playoff hopefuls Houston (twice), Seattle and Jacksonville.
