Cal Quantrill, 4.0 Strikeouts (LOWER)

Right-hander Quantrill is facing a Tampa Bay team that is finding their previous early-season magic. Their wRC+ is 144, and ISO is .183; .194 versus righties. They have won the last four out of five games by 18 points, and versus righties, they are slashing .260/.332/.453 for the season. Before going on the IR with shoulder inflammation, Quantrill had lost his last four of five starts with 15 strikeouts. I can't see him pitching enough innings against a strong Rays team to go over four strikeouts, so I'm taking the LOWER for Cal Quantrill.

Max Scherzer, 8.5 Strikeouts (LOWER)

This season, Scherzer has an 11-5 record with a 3.75 ERA and 3.94 xFIP. However, the Twins have a 119 wRC+ and a .207 ISO. If Scherzer struggles, the Minnesota hitters will be dangerous, and Scherzer won't be able to pitch enough innings to get him to nine strikeouts. He struck out ten in his outing last week in Minnesota, but that will not happen again tonight versus the Twins, and he will go LOWER than 8.5 Strikeouts.

Carlos Rodon, 25.5 Fantasy Points (LOWER)

Rodon has a tough matchup tonight versus Houston on the road. Rodon has a 5.97 ERA and a 5.84 xFIP, which means I'm expecting the Astros to score a lot of runs tonight versus the lefty. The 'Stros are second in the AL West and are on a five-game winning streak. They are striking out just 15% of the time, and with their 144 wRC+ and .198 ISO, I'm not expecting Rodon to hang around long enough to get to 26 points. Go LOWER for Rodon's 25.5 Fantasy Points.

Yandy Diaz, 1.5 Total Bases (HIGHER)

As pointed out above while discussing Carlos Rodon, Tampa Bay bats are hot again. Diaz is slashing .300/.391/.500 in his last five games and .500/.571/.750 in three games this year versus Cleveland. Diaz has 17 home runs and 66 RBI this year, and his slash line for the season is .327/.403/.506. Rodon is 1-4 in eight starts, giving him a 5.97 ERA and allowing ten home runs and 20 RBI. Diaz will go over 1.5 bases tonight. Go HIGHER than 1.5 total bases Diaz versus Rodon tonight in Houston.

Matt Wallner, 0.5 Total Bases (HIGHER)

Minnesota is a team I was looking at this morning as a tournament stack, and Wallner will be one of my prominent bats. Yes, he's going up against Max Scherzer, but the Twins' bats are hot right now. They are first in the AL East and slashing .255/.340/.464 post-All-Star break. Versus right-handed pitchers, they are batting .243/.326/.427, and Wallner himself is slashing .250/.386/.537 with eight home runs and 23 RBI. I'll be going HIGHER than 0.5 Total Bases tonight for Wallner versus Scherzer.

Rafael Devers, 9.0 Fantasy Points (HIGHER)

The Red Sox are facing another right-handed pitcher tonight in Jordan Lyles at hitter-friendly Kauffman Stadium. In 60 days on the road this year, Devers is slashing .259/.331/.539 with 18 home runs and 46 RBI. Post All-Star break, he is batting .297/.377/.534; versus righties, he is .269/.352/.504. I'll be going HIGHER than 9.0 Fantasy Points tonight for Devers versus Lyles in Kansas City.
