Top 5 Underdogs to Bet on for 2022-23 College Football Bowl Season
This is the first college football article for AthlonSports.com. It's not the only time Athlons has written a gambling article. The lines for the college bowl season might shift between submission and kickoff. There will be upsets. Athlsons' top five underdogs are:
Boise State is the better team, but North Texas is a better bet. The Mean Green are 4-4 ATS. Boise State travels from northern part of the country to southern state. NorthTexas travels less than 45 minutes.
Eastern Michigan is playing San Jose State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The line is way too high for many reasons. San Diego State has a better record overall than Eastern Michigan. Syracuse got off to a 6-0 start and won their seventh game. They lost their next four games. However, they won the final game against Boston College. Their home game is at Yankee Stadium.
South Carolina is a team that has won some games and lost some. They are playing in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl against Notre Dame. South Carolina has covered in four of their last five games as underdogs.
Tennessee is playing in the Capital One Orange Bowl. The Vols finished as No. 6 and Clemson as no. 10. Clemson should have lost to Syracuse, but they didn't play well enough. Clemson lost at the end by less than a field goal. Tennessee will win. It's down to the SEC just being better than ACC.
