Top MLB Parlay Odds & Picks for Saturday, April 9th (2022)

Yesterday's MLB games were exciting, with six of them decided by one run and two by walk-offs. Today's parlay features some notable pitching matchups.

Josh Donaldson won the first game of the season for the Yankees. Luis Severino is making his first start since September 2019. Nick Pivetta will try to get Boston in the win column for first time this year. The Yankees used seven relievers in seven innings yesterday. This will favor the Sox. The top four of their lineup was explosive on Opening Day.

Houston Astros are playing against Los Angeles Angels. Justin Verlander hasn't played for two years due to elbow problems and TJ surgery. Noah Syndergaard is trying to get back on track after Tommy John surgery back in 2020. The Angels and Astros scored 19 runs yesterday. The teams scored 13 of the 19 in the last three innings. I'm more confident in a first half score.

Brandon Woodruff finished top five in the NL Cy Young race last year. He finished with a 2.56 ERA and 211 strikeouts in 179 1/3 innings. Woodrruff will start against Chicago Cubs (First Pitch 2:20 p.m. ET) on Saturday, April 9th (2022). He should get enough innings for a quality start and mow down enough for the over.
