All-American Vaughn leads the Big 12 with 271 yards rushing and has eight straight 100-yard games. He has a rushing touchdown in nine straight games, the longest by a Wildcat since Collin Klein had 12 in 2012. The Wildcats have not asked Martinez to throw much in the first two games against FCS South Dakota and Missouri.

Tulane is in recovery mode after a disappointing 2-10 season. The team returns 16 starters, including two of the top receivers. Quarterback Michael Pratt has been consistent in victories over UMass and Alcorn State. Running back Tyjae Spears is an all-AAC candidate.
