Tybura is likely to be a favored Tybura vs Ivanov prediction among many this weekend. The Polish star has been a formidable fighter throughout his career and has built up a 23-7 professional record. After a long break from the octagon, he finally returned at UFC 278 in August 2022 to beat Alexander Romanov by a majority decision. That was an effective response after suffering a unanimous defeat against Alexander Volkov at UFC 267 in 2021.
Tybura has been a prominent force in the heavyweight division throughout his career, winning the Performance of the Night bonus with successive TKO finishes of Greg Hardy and Walt Harris in 2020 and 2021, respectively. The latter of those victories was the fifth straight win in the octagon, but the winning streak ended at the hands of Volkov in October 2021.
The Polish heavyweight is currently the tenth-ranked heavyweight in UFC, and he was previously the M-1 Global Heavyweight champion. He is yet to reach the same heights in UFC, but there is a sense in the UFC odds that he could be just too good for Ivanov this weekend.
Blagoy Ivanov

To date, he has fought professionally in MMA on 24 previous occasions, claiming victory on 19 occasions. However, he has lost three times, with all defeats coming by decision. The Bulgarian made his long-awaited return to the octagon in May 2022 at UFC 274, as he picked up a unanimous decision success over Marcos Rogerio de Lima in Phoenix. That success was a much-needed win for Ivanov, who had lost the previous two fights.
However, it was a pleasing return to MMA after nearly a two-year break from active competition. There is little doubt that he can throw big shots, but he will need to record a career-best effort to upset the Tybura vs Ivanov prediction from us this weekend.
