UFC 291 Betting Offers & Free Bets

A loaded five fight main card takes place Saturday night in the Delta Center, Salt Lake City. There are no official titles on the line, but the main event, Dustin Poirier vs. Justin Gaethje 2, is for the now-vacant BMF title.

There’s no doubting that these two are BMFs, based on their first meeting in the Octagon in 2018. UFC betting sites will have a great selection of free bet offers, welcome bonuses and price boosts for the fight and for the rest of the main card. We’ve got all the best ones for you right here at Bookies.com, including a 40/1 special from Parimatch on Dustin Poirier to win.

UFC 291 Betting Offers & Free Bets

The standout offer for UFC 291 is Parimatch's,which is exclusive for new UK customers. To avail of the offer, just click on the link right here on this page, open your new Parimatch account and place a £1 bet on Poirier to win the bout. If he does, you’ll be topped up to 40/1 by way of free bets.

There are plenty of UFC 291 price boosts available at other UK betting sites too. BoyleSports has boosted Poirier vs. Gaethje, Jan Blachowicz vs. Alex Pereira and Tony Ferguson vs. Bobby Green all to finish inside the distance from 5/2 to 11/4.

William Hill has boosted Poirier and Pereira both to win by KO/TKO/DQ from 11/2 to 13/2. This could be worth a look if you fancy some early finishes combined with wins for the favourites. There’s also a great free bet offer available for new customers.

UFC 291: Poirier v Gaethje

Only eight fighters in the entire history of the UFC have seven or more Fight of the Night bonuses. On Saturday, at UFC 291, two of them go head-to-head when Dustin Poirier faces off against Justin Gaethje for the second time. Their first fight in 2018 is widely regarded as one of the greatest fights ever in the sport, so it’s no shock that there’s plenty of intrigue from fight fans and indeed from UFC betting sites.

Each fighter has lost just twice since that fight, with both losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov and to Charles Oliveira. Now ranked two and three in the UFC’s Lightweight rankings, the two men will be hoping for another shot at gold after claiming victory on Saturday and hoisting Jorge Masvidal’s vacant BMF title.

This promises to be an all-action fight between two fighters who like to leave it all in the Octagon. Both are true warriors who are likely to prove hard to stop, but given their fighting styles, it would be a pretty big shock if this one went the distance.

UFC 291 Undercard Preview

The co-main event on Saturday night is a light heavyweight bout. Much like the main event, it sees the number two ranked fighter in the division, Jan Blachowicz, taking on the third-ranked fighter, Alex Pereira. This is a first venture up in a new weight class for Pereira, who makes his return to the Octagon after losing his UFC Middleweight Championship to Israel Adesanya at UFC 287.

Elsewhere on the UFC 291 main card, Stephen Thompson takes on Michel Pereira in a welterweight bout, UFC legend Tony Ferguson squares off against Bobby Green, who comes in on the back of two losses and a no contest, and Michael Chiesa faces Kevin Holland.

The curtain jerkers are scheduled in the octagon at 11:30pm UK time for the early prelims, with five more prelims due to start at 1am.

UFC 291 Best Bets

Poirier vs. Gaethje has all the makings of being a classic. Their cardio will need to be on point, with the fight scheduled for five rounds, and them both being known for going all guns blazing. It’s possible we see an outcome similar to their first fight, with Poirier getting the stoppage in the middle rounds. He’s currently available at 11/1 with bet365 to win in round three.

Parimatch's40/1 for Poirier to win looks like a no-brainer, though. He’s generally around 4/6 to win the fight, so having that boosted to 40/1 with the payout coming in free bets looks like excellent value for new customers.
