UFC 300 Odds & Picks: Who Will Headline?

UFC 300 is approaching in the first quarter of 2024, and while we don't have an official date for the massive pay-per-view (likely April), we do know the promotion will pump tons of money into this historic event.

So what could we see at UFC 300? The return of Conor McGregor? Three or more title fights?

The speculation is rampant. UFC president Dana White has eased our minds by announcing several fights. Here's what we came up with for our UFC 300 odds, picks, and main card predictions.

UFC 300 Odds: Announced Bouts

Calvin Kattar vs Aljamain Sterling

Aleksander Rakic vs Jiri Prochazka Odds

Bo Nickal vs Cody Brundage Odds

UFC 300 Odds: Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler To Headline?

It makes tons of sense for McGregor and Chandler to square off at UFC 300 in April. McGregor's return could be billed as a massive spectacle, while the violent matchup vs Chandler will force casual and sharp MMA fans to tune in.

It'd be odd to have a non-title fight headline such a historic pay-per-view, but in the case of "Mystic Mac," the UFC has already made plenty of exceptions.

UFC 300 Odds: Main Card Fights We Want To See

UFC 300: Islam Makhachev vs Justin Gaethje

Islam is targeting a return around March/April, lining him up for a main-event or co-main showdown at UFC 300. Gaethje is the obvious next opponent after "The Highlight" knocked out Dustin Poirier last summer with an epic head kick.

This lightweight title would be flashy, violent, and a perfect fit for the most famous UFC pay-per-view to date.

UFC 300: Israel Adesanya vs Alex Pereira 3

A UFC trilogy awaits for these two arch-rivals. Each fighter has one win apiece, and Pereira called out Adesanya after the Brazilian secured the light heavyweight title in November.

Adesanya is on sabbatical from the sport, but a big payday and a slot in the UFC 300 main event might lure him into one last dance with the devil.

UFC 300: Tom Aspinall vs Ciryl Gane

Aspinall demolished Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 to secure his interim heavyweight championship. With Jon Jones on the shelf due to injury, Gane makes the most sense as the Brit's next opponent.

Aspinall and Gane have hovered around the top of the heavyweight division for years, and now that Aspinall has the strap, the two big men can throw down with massive stakes on the line. UFC 300 would be a fantastic venue for this A+ fight.

UFC 300 Odds: How many Title Fights?

The oddsmakers are pretty sure we'll have a trifecta of title fights for UFC 300 (75% probability, per our odds calculator). Let's think logically about which championship cycles could line up for April. I like the OVER, even though it's not a lucrative bet. The bantamweight (men's and women's), featherweight, and middleweight champions will likely be unavailable, but that still leaves eight other UFC divisions.

Dana White tried to put up three title fights at UFC 200, but it all fell apart. Now he'll get his revenge.

UFC 300 Odds: Where Will The Event Be Held?

Vegas is chalked, which makes sense, but you've got to think the UFC spices things up for an epic card like 300.

Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders, is a fun idea, so that would be my best bet. MSG is unlikely, as the promotion will have just been there for UFC 295. For a long shot, I'd take AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, at +850.
