UFC Fight Odds: Biggest Betting Upsets In History

There have been many big betting upsets in the history of MMA. This batch will stand the test of time.  

Shana Dobson won a fight against Mariya Agapova via second-round TKO. The odds were +950 for Dobon and -1400 for Agopova. The fight took place at UFC Vegas 7 on August 22, 2020.

Holly Holm beat Ronda Rousey in a second-round KO at UFC 193. It was the biggest betting upset in UFC history. It's also the most memorable moment in the history of the sport.

Matt Serra's win over Georges St-Pierre is considered the biggest upset in UFC history. St. Pierre went on to become the greatest UFC fighter in history after winning the rematch.

Julianna Peña defeated Amanda Nunes via second-round submission at UFC 269. The loss snapped Nunes' 12-fight win streak.   The rematch will take place on December 11, 2021.

Mike Jackson won the fight against Dean Barry via first-round DQ. Barry was released from the UFC for eye-gouging. The fight took place in UFC Vegas 52 on April 23, 2022.

The following five betting upsets were among the most significant ever. They shifted future moneylines and created (and shattered) multiple fighters’ careers along the way.

T.J. Dillashaw defeated Renan Barao via fifth-round TKO at UFC 173.

Frankie Edgar won the UFC 112 fight against B.J. Penn by unanimous decision. It was Frankie Edgar's first win over B J.Penn. Frankie and BJ Penn's rematch was a draw.

Rose Namajunas won the UFC strawweight title by defeating Joanna Jędrzejczyk in the first round. Namjuna became the second female UFC champion.

Michael Bisping beat Luke Rockhold in a rematch at UFC 199 on June 4, 2016. Besping had previously defeated Rockhard in Sydney two years earlier.

Gabriel Gonzaga won UFC 70 via first-round KO over Mirko Filipovic. The Croatian legend's signature move was head kick. Gonzagawa's victory led to a title fight against Randy Couture.
