UFC Vegas 77 Fight Card, Betting Odds, and Schedule

After the resounding success of UFC 290, the top MMA fighters in the world return to the Apex this week for UFC Vegas 77, which takes place on Saturday, July 15. It’s going to be another can’t-miss event with something for everyone on the massive 13-fight card.

With so much to take in ahead of the festivities, Betting News is making your life easier. Here’s a look at the full UFC Vegas 77 card, complete with the latest betting odds and all of the event information that you need to know.

UFC Vegas 77 Main Card and Odds (Odds via BetOnline as of Monday, July 10)

UFC Vegas 77 Main Event: Holly Holm (-146) vs. Mayra Bueno Silva (+126)

UFC Vegas 77 is set to be headlined by a massive women’s bantamweight main event between former champion Holly Holm (15-6) and Mayra Bueno Silva (10-2-1). Holm and Silva are the No. 3 and No. 10 bantamweight fighters, respectively, at the moment, highlighting the importance of this clash.

After losing her return bout to Ketlen Vieira (via split decision) at UFC Vegas 55, Holm bounced back in a big way 10 months later. She took on Yana Santos in San Antonio back in March, walking out with the unanimous decision victory.

Holm is now 3-1 in her last four fights, leaving time to tell if she can keep the momentum coming.

Standing in Holm’s way of more success is Silva, who’s been making quite a name for herself. She’s gone 3-0 since her bantamweight division return in April 2022 and is quickly rising up the rankings.

Even more impressive is that Silva’s last two wins have been by submission. It only took her 1:17 to submit Stephanie Egger back in August before using a kneeler to submit Lina Lansberg five months later, taking home ‘performance of the night’ honors for that victory.

With Holm having been to the top of the mountain before and Silva being the hungry underdog, the UFC Vegas 77 main event is shaping up to be a memorable one.

UFC Vegas 77 Co-Main Event: Albert Duraev (+134) vs. Jun Yong Park (-154)

Saturday’s co-main event sees Albert Duraev (16-4) going head-to-head against Jun Yong Park (16-5) in middleweight action.

Duraev made a name for himself in Russia by finishing 11 of the first 16 opponents he faced. He’s since gone 3-1 in the UFC, most recently outlasting Chidi Njokuani at UFC on ESPN 43 to win by split decision.

Meanwhile, Park heads into Sin City riding a three-fight winning streak. He’s shut down the competition recently, submitting both Joseph Holmes and Denis Tiuliulin in a four-month span. Both Park and Duraev are unranked at the moment, further adding to the high stakes of this showdown.

Heavyweight: Walt Harris (-160) vs. Josh Parisian (+140)

Another two fighters looking to make waves at UFC Vegas 77 are Walt Harris (13-10, 1NC) and Josh Parisian (15-6).

Harris is currently in the midst of the worst run of his career, having lost each of his last three fights. Making matters worse is that he was knocked out in each out, leaving time to tell if he still has what it takes to compete.

Parisian is also coming off a loss, falling to Jamal Pogues (via unanimous decision) five months ago. Having said that, the 34-year-old West Virginian is at least .500 (3-3) in the UFC, so it’ll be up to him to make a statement this weekend if he hopes to keep being taken seriously.

Women’s Featherweight: Norma Dumont (-145) vs. Chelsea Chandler (+125)

Chelsea Chandler (5-1) hopes to keep her winning streak going when she takes on Norma Dumont (9-2) Saturday night.

Chandler made her highly-anticipated debut at UFC Vegas 61 with much success. She knocked Julija Stoliarenko out in the first round, marking the 29-year-old’s five victories in a row.

Keeping that in mind, Dumont found success of her own, going 5-1 in her previous six fights. She’s won her last two bouts by unanimous decision, overcoming well-known names in Danyelle Wolf and Karol Rosa.

Lightweight: Ottman Azaitar (+102) vs. Francisco Prado (-122)

The UFC Vegas 77 main card also features a lightweight meeting between Ottman Azaitar (13-1) and Francisco Prado (11-1).

Azaitar’s UFC run began perfectly, starting off 2-0 with back-to-back knockout wins over Teemu Packalen and Kharma Worthy. Unfortunately, his fun ended when he took on Matt Frevola in his latest bout, losing via KO in Round 1.

Prado is also in strange territory, suffering his first-ever defeat with a unanimous decision loss to Jamie Mullarkey back in February. Considering that fight was also his company debut, Prado needs to have a statement performance if he hopes to become a serious player.

Lightweight: Terrance McKinney (+125) vs. Nazim Sadykhov (-145)

Terrance McKinney (13-5) has a tough upcoming test when he collides with Nazim Sadykhov (8-1) under the Las Vegas lights.

After all, Sadykhov is a beast, scoring victories in each of his previous eight bouts. He also both of his UFC matchups thus far, knocking out Ahmad Sohail Hassanzada and Evan Elder to put the lightweight division on notice.

On the flip side, McKinney lost two of his previous three outings. His last outing was a bit of a doozy as he was knocked by Ismael Bonfim at UFC 283. McKinney has now been finished in four of his last 10 outings.

UFC Vegas 77 Preliminary Card and Odds

Featherweight: Tucker Lutz (+157) vs. Melsik Baghdasaryan (-182)

Included on the UFC Vegas 77 preliminary card is a featherweight fight between Tucker Lutz (12-3) and Melsik Baghdasaryan (7-2).

After a 3-0 start to his UFC run, Lutz has since lost back-to-back fights, most recently submitting to Daniel Pineda just under four months ago. Baghdasaryan also opened his tenure with a trio of victories but lost his last outing (via submission) to Joshua Culibao at UFC 284.

Women’s Strawweight: Viktoriia Dudakova (-204) vs. Istela Nunes (+174)

One fight worth keeping an eye on this weekend is the strawweight battle between the undefeated Viktoriia Dudakova (6-0) and Istela Nunes (6-4, 1NC).

Dudakova finished five of her previous six opponents and most recently overcame Maria Silva by points in her debut on Dana White’s Contender Series 2022. Meanwhile, Nunes tasted defeat in each of her previous three outings, which includes losing once by submission and another time via TKO.

Featherweight: Austin Lingo (+170) vs. Melquizael Costa (-200)

Austin Lingo (9-2) needs a bounce-back performance when he steps into the cage with Melquizael Costa (19-6) at the Apex.

Lingo is coming off a loss to Nate Landwehr at UFC on ESPN 43, submitting to a rear-naked choke in Round 2. Costa hasn’t been in action since making his debut at UFC 283, where he suffered a second-round submission loss to Thiago Moises.

Lightweight: Evan Elder (-329) vs. Genaro Valdez (+279)

The UFC Vegas 77 preliminary lineup also includes lightweight festivities between Evan Elder (7-2) and Genaro Valdez (10-2).

Although Elder’s the heavy favorite, it’s important that his latest outing saw him suffer a third-round TKO loss to Nazim Sadykhov. At the same time, Valdez has losses in his most recent pair of fights and hasn’t stepped foot into the octagon since December, leaving many to wonder if he has any cage rust.

Flyweight: Tyson Nam (+315) vs. Azat Maksum (-415)

The sole flyweight bout on the card pits Tyson Nam (21-13-1) toe-to-toe against the flawless Azat Maksum (16-0).

Nam aims to rebound from his loss to Bruno Gustavo da Silva back in March. That’ll be easier said than done against Maksum, who’s making his debut after finishing 12 of his first 16 MMA opponents (five by KO/TKO, seven by submission).

Lightweight: Alexander Munoz (-158) vs. Carl Deaton (+138)

Alexander Munoz (6-2) is set to go one-on-one with Carl Deaton (17-6, 2NC) in a lightweight affair at UFC Vegas 77.

Unfortunately, Munoz is somewhat stuck in a rut, beginning his UFC run with two straight losses via points. Deaton can relate to the feeling as his debut didn’t go as planned five months ago, suffering a second-round submission loss to Joe Solecki.

Women’s Bantamweight: Ashlee Evans-Smith (+157) vs. Ailin Perez (-182)

Lastly, the preliminary card also showcases Ashlee Evans-Smith (6-5) engaging with Ailin Perez (7-2) in a women’s bantamweight contest.

On one side is Evans-Smith, who’s gone an abysmal 1-4 in her previous five matchups. On the other is Perez, who was submitted by Stephanie Egger in the former’s UFC debut, leaving her craving more positive results this weekend.
