Caesars Entertainment has confirmed the launch of its Caesars Racebook mobile horse racing betting app in New York State.

The app, which ties in to the Caesars Rewards loyalty program, allows for pari-mutuel betting on races taking place at more than 300 race tracks around the world.

Caesars Racebook is already live in 16 other US states including California, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Caesars Digital chief development officer and senior VP Dan Shapiro spoke about Caesars’ deep links with horse racing across the US, with the operator serving as the presenting sponsor of the National Horserplayers Championship and operating four race tracks at its casino properties.

Caesars Sportsbook partner race tracks include Del Mar, Monmouth Park, Keeneland, and the Red Mile in Kentucky. Isn’t it just called Red Mile?

“Building on the popularity of our Caesars Sportsbook app, we are thrilled to launch Caesars Racebook in New York during the heart of the Saratoga race meet,” Shapiro said.

“Caesars has a deep-rooted commitment to horse racing, and we couldn’t have a better partner to bring a premier horse racing mobile wagering experience to racing fans,” he added.

Caesars launched its racebook in March, partnering with the New York Racing Association (NYRA) and utilizing technology from the NYRA Bets platform to facilitate the launch.

Caesars serves as the NYRA’s official sports betting partner and title sponsor of the NYRA Turf Triple Series at Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course.

“This is an important expansion of the partnership between NYRA Bets and Caesars Racebook that will contribute to the success of horse racing in New York State now and in the future,” NYRA Bets president Tony Allevato added.
