Vaucelet chases down rival in thrilling finish at Down Royal
Vaucelet beats Dorking Cock in photo finish to the Down Royal Hunter Chase. Niall Moore had a spare ride on Kalanisi Dubh in the Adare Manor Hurdle. Ifiwerearichman won the Red Mills Hurdykle with James O'Sullivan on board. The Beginners Chase was won by Chavez. The handicap chase produced a hard fought finish after the last between the winner Highstreetfashion and Walking The Walk. It was the first time that Chavez had been ridden by a British trainer. He was unseated at the start.
