Hellebuyck's odds have been shortening with each passing week, and he's probably too short now to warrant action. He has consistently been one of the league's best goalies for years and is now the main culprit behind the Jets' impeccable goal differential.

The Jets have lost their top spot in the Central Division, which may backfire for him winning. Still, the Jets have allowed only 143 total goals as of March 5, which is the lowest for any team in the league.

Thatcher Demko (+500 via FanDuel)

Demko provides nice value if he can surge or if Hellebuyck falters over the final quarter of the regular season. Once the favorite to win this market, he's led Vancouver to the top spot in the Pacific Division and the second-best goal differential in the league. Now, a lot of that credit goes to the Canucks' offense as well which is among the most prolific in the league, but Demko has more than held his own in the net this season.

Unfortunately, Demko stumbled a bit in February, posting a 5-5-1 record with just an .894 save percentage and a 2.91 GAA, but there is still time for him to close the gap with a strong finish if he can mimic his January numbers (.926, 2.39).

As is the case with most NHL awards at this time of the season, the picture is drawing quite clear as names drop off and rise to the top. Many goalies, such as Boston Bruins netminder Jeremy Swayman and Vegas Golden Knights backstop Adin Hill, may warrant consideration for this spot. Both of those players sport superb save percentages toward the top of the league and are in the top 10 of GAA.

But Bobrovsky has something they don't have: a heavy workload. His GAA (2.29) ranks second among qualified goaltenders, and his save percentage (.918) is sixth. All this while shouldering one of the heaviest workloads in the league (45 games) and guiding his team to the best record.

As has been the case for the last couple of months, Hellebuyck has continued to solidify himself at the top of the oddsboaord. As has also been the case for the last couple of months across all NHL awards, the list of true contenders shortens with each passing week.

The Bruins have continued to stumble in recent weeks, and we've seen Swayman's odds lengthen in return. Nashville Predators goalie Juuse Saros had his best month in February, and his odds have shortened to as low as +3000 at DraftKings but the Preds are barely hanging on to a Western Conference Wild Card playoff berth and he's going to need to carry the team to the postseason to remain on the contender list.
