Victor Osimhen Next Club Odds: Man Utd 5/1 To Sign Napoli Star

According to UK betting sites, Manchester United are favourites to sign Victor Osimhen after the Nigerian’s Premier League ambition was revealed.

Swapping Lille for Naples in 2020, under a record transfer fee for an African player (£70m), Osimhen has shown his worth during his time in Europe. He has contributed to 115 goals in 181 matches so far across Europe’s top leagues and has shown no signs of slowing down.

The Napoli striker has been just as prolific this season, scoring 25 goals in all competitions – boosting his side to the top of the Serie A. His partnership with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been formidable and the Georgian winger is also being targeted by some elite clubs.

One of Europe’s biggest sides, Manchester United, are reportedly huge admirers of the Serie A marksman and would be willing to ‘splash the cash’ over the summer. The Red Devils are set to be taken over in the coming weeks and a financial boost could see a host of players move to Manchester.

This link to England may be insulting to the other top leagues in Europe, as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keen on the striker. However, his Nigerian teammate and Premier League veteran Alex Iwobi has revealed Osimhen’s Premier League ambition.

Everton star, Alex Iwobi said: “He probably has the ambition to play in the Premier League.”

The 24-year-old is set to lift the league title this year with Napoli 19 points clear at the top of the Serie A, alongside a huge quarter-final clash against AC Milan in the Champions League. Unfortunately for supporters of the Naples club, the forward is expected to leave for around £100m.
