Warren Gatland completes Wales coaching set-up with additions of two new coaches

Warren Gatland has completed his Wales coaching set-up for the Six Nations with the appointments of Alex King and Mike Forshaw. Gatlands replaced Wayne Pivac as Wales head coach in December. Stephen Jones and Gethin Jenkins were replaced as attack coach and defence lieutenant respectively by King.

Gatlands made a dramatic return as Wales head coach in December to replace the sacked Wayne Pivac. Stephen Jones and Gethin Jenkins have been replaced as attack coach and defence lieutenant respectively by King from Premiership side Sale. Gatlan wants to upset world No 1 Ireland at the tournament. He wanted his former assistant Rob Howley to take charge of his attack but the move was blocked by the Welsh Rugby Union board. Paul Gustard was also considered but he is under contract at Stade Francais.
