Warren Gatland is planning a complete overhaul of his coaching staff with the Wales team. Rob Howley and Paul Gustard are in the running to replace Stephen Jones and Gethin Jenkins as assistant coaches. Jonathan Humphreys is set to retain his position. Wayne Pivac left the role earlier this month. He had a disappointing 2022 and suffered home losses to both Italy and Georgia. Gatlands is back in charge of Wales for the second time after a glittering first spell in which he was in care between 2007 and 2019. Howly was sent home from the World Cup in Japan for breaking rugby's betting rules.
