Warrnambool Betting Tips & Quaddie Selections

Port Fairy Cup and Koroit Cup are the highlight events on the Warrnambool Racing Club's card on Sunday. The rail will be in the +3m position for the entire circuit.

The $40,000 Port Fairy Cup over 1400m will be one of the feature events for the day at Warrnambool. Andrew Bobbin-trained Yulong Patrol looks a good chance to go back-to-back after his win at Morphettville on December 31 over 1519m.

The Koroit Cup over 1700m takes place at Warrnambool on Sunday. Harbourmaster from Henry Dwyer's yard won at Sandown on December 21. Mitchell Aitken has ridden this gelding at his last five starts, recording three wins and a close second.

Awol is the best bet at Warrnambool. John Allen will ride him on his debut. Awol had a disappointing debut at Sandown over 1200m. He was good in two jump-outs at Mortlake and Ararat over 800m and 850m before his Sandow debut and he will improve for his second race.

Beauleica is the next best at Warrnambool. He won his maiden race on November 27 by 2.25 lengths. Beauleicia will jump from Maiden grade to a Benchmark 64 Handicap.
