Prediction for the NBA Washington Wizards vs Detroit Pistons match will take place on March 15th. Who will turn out to be stronger? Check the team conditions! Several betting options are available.

Washington

Washington does not yet have a solid playoff spot. They were recently among the ten strongest teams in the East, but now they have passed Chicago, sitting 11th. The Wizards have suffered five losses in their last six games, beating only Detroit on the road. During this disappointing stretch for Washington, Kristaps Porzingis played some of his best basketball. The Latvian big man averaged 24 points and made 43.2% of his shots. Bradley Beal also had some nice games, while Corey Kispert and Delon Wright are in great shape. Kyle Kuzma still can't his pains, so his participation in the game with Detroit is questionable.

Last year Wes Unseld Jr.'s wards lost on the road to Philadelphia - 93:112. Washington's top three failed to catch the game, with Porzingis incredibly disappointing, hitting just 4 of 15 shots. Corey Kispert played offensively for the rest of the team and finished with 25 points, making him the top scorer for the Wizards. The Capitals could have been more solid on defense and gotten at least a semblance of a shot at success. Delon Wright, who leads the NBA in steals per game, had only one steal against the Sixers, clearly below his level.

Detroit

The Pistons are finishing the season without their team leaders. Bojan Bogdanovic will likely miss the rest of the games due to injury. Cade Cunningham has been out, and the others have been out periodically. Jaden Ivey is on the coronavirus protocol, and Marvin Bagley, Alec Burks, and Isaiah Stewart also remain out. Still, in their last game, Dwayne Casey's men snapped their streak of 11 straight losses by defeating Indiana, 117-97. The opponent was without Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner, which made the Pistons' task much easier. Six Detroit players scored 12+ points on at least 50% shooting from the field in that game. It was only logical to expect something like that from Jalen Duren or James Wiseman, but Cory Joseph, Eugene Omoruyi, R.J. Hampton, and Rodney McGruder surprised. Joseph, with 22 points, ended up being Detroit's highest scorer.

Expert Betting Tips

Detroit faced a comparable opponent in their last matchup: Without Turner and Haliburton, Indiana would be unlikely to rise above 14th place in the East. The visibly weakened Pistons will face a playoff contender who urgently needs a win. The Wizards have a lot going for them on the offensive end, with Porzingis and Beal in great form and Kispert helping out in more ways than just three-point shooting. The Metropolitan defeated Detroit recently, and the Pistons had Jaden Ivey and Marvin Bagley, who are currently missing in the starting five.
