Washington vs. Michigan odds: Opening odds, point spread, total for CFP National Championship Game
The 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship will take place next Monday as the No. 2 Washington Huskies will meet the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines at NRG Stadium in Houston. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and the title game will air on ESPN.
Washington (14-0) was able to outgun Texas in its Sugar Bowl semifinal on New Year’s Day, walking out of the Superdome with a 37-31 win. The Husky offense was electric for the entire evening as quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw for 430 yards while connecting star receivers Rome Odunze and Ja’Lynn Polk.
Michigan (14-0) survived its Rose Bowl semifinal matchup against Alabama on New Year’s Day, taking down the Crimson Tide in a 27-20 overtime thriller. Running back Blake Corum punched in the go-ahead score to start OT and the Wolverine defense closed it out by stuffing Bama quarterback Jalen Milroe on 4th and goal.
