Washington Wizards vs. Portland Trail Blazers Prediction, Preview, and Odds

The Washington Wizards (4-22; 13-13 ATS) have dropped two straight games since a 137-123 victory to the Indiana Pacers on December 15. After a tough 112-108 defeat at the Phoenix Suns in which Washington blew a 16-point lead, the Wizards lost at the Sacramento Kings 143-131 this past Monday.

The Portland Trail Blazers (7-19; 13-13 ATS) put an end to their seven-game losing streak last Tuesday. They upset the Phoenix Suns 109-104, playing as 7.5-point home underdogs. The Blazers overcame Kevin Durant’s 40-point performance, rallying from a 12-point halftime deficit. 

Portland held Phoenix to 43 second-half points. The Trail Blazers went 14-for-28 from beyond the arc and allowed just five 3-pointers to the Suns, who outscored Portland 62-36 in the paint. Anfernee Simmons led the charge for the Blazers with 23 points and seven assists, while Deandre Ayton double-doubled with 16 points and 15 rebounds.
