Loch Lomond won a Maiden race at Gosford on debut in a 4YO Maiden. The horse was riding well but the leader was too fast. Loch LOMond was urged along by a jock. The winner of the Golden Slipper is decided on the basis of racing tradition. It is the first time since 2010 that a juvenile has won the race.
