Watch shocking moment MMA stars fight with SWORDS as fans demand 'more'

FANS were left stunned as a pair of MMA fighters took to a cage with SWORDS last month.

Bizarre footage has circulated online of the unusual bout.

It took place on the "Fight Music Show" card in Curitiba on October 29.

For the bout, two fighters came out clad in black outfits and helmets.

The pair danced around the cage, jabbing at each other with their swords.

After five minutes the round came to a close, with a victor named via decision.

The quirky show was headlined by a more conventional kickboxing bout between Dioginis Souza and Otacilio de Oliveira, with the former claiming victory.

While there were also MMA fights on the card.

But the sword fight managed to grab its fair share of attention.

YouTube, one fan wrote: "Incredible sport, I'm glad it's being revived little by little, long live the sword."

While a second gushed: "What an amazing fight!!"

A third beamed: "Sensational ! Congratulations to the fighters."

And another called for "more sword fights!"
