What channel is Brighton vs Liverpool? Kick-off time, TV and live stream details

FA Cup holders Liverpool will be looking to put their poor league form to one side as they travel to the Amex Stadium to take on a rejuvenated Brighton in the fourth round

Liverpool return to the scene of the "horror show" as they bid to exact revenge on Brighton in the FA Cup this weekend.

The Seagulls gave Jurgen Klopp's men a rude awakening in the recent Premier League fixture, thrashing the Reds 3-0 to add to their disappointing start to the season. Klopp described the match as "worst game he's ever seen" afterwards, but is determined to put a stop to his team's slide.

Liverpool's manager admitted his side has not even watched the match back, but the FA Cup offers a chance to put things right. Brighton have been performing well under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, however, and will be keen to put together a cup run of their own.

Here is all you need to know about the match.

When is Brighton vs Liverpool?

The FA Cup fourth round clash is scheduled to take place on Sunday January 29, with kick-off set for 1:30pm.

Liverpool had to take two bites of the cherry to see of Wolves in the last round, drawing 2-2 in the first meeting at Anfield before earning a 1-0 victory at Molineux in the replay, courtesy of a Harvey Elliott screamer.

Meanwhile Brighton were in rampant mood away at Middlesbrough, hitting their Championship opponents for five, including a brace from World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister.

Team news

Liverpool are still juggling a raft of injuries that have hampered Klopp's selection options. Virgil van Dijk, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino are still a couple of weeks away from being back in training while Luis Diaz is still out.

Loanee Arthur Melo is also still a few weeks away from getting back on the training ground again while Fabio Carvalho will not be involved on Sunday, but James Milner is fit to play.

Speaking in his press conference on Friday, Klopp admitted he had not yet made a decision on his XI but hinted he could make changes in his forward line. "I didn't make these decisions yet but we had a long training week," he said. "We can use that. If the boys look like they can go again so they will start again but if not, up front we have a few options."

Brighton have a few injury issues with Levi Colwill and ex-Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana both set to miss out, along with Jakub Moder who is still sidelined too.
