Jurgen Klopp’s side are coming off the back of a huge 2-0 victory over Arsenal on Wednesday in the race for the Premier League title, while Steve Cooper’s side defeated QPR 3-1 to move to within one point of the play-offs.

Team news

Forest will be buoyed from their midweek win against QPR and Cooper may well stick with a similar side from that game, but Scott McKenna will be missing after picking up a muscular problem on the night.

Max Lowe is set to continue his absence from the side, while Lewis Grabban, who scored the match winner against Arsenal in the Third Round, and Steve Cook are also out through injury.

Klopp is likely to make changes from the side that beat Arsenal on Wednesday and give minutes to those on the fringes of the first team against their Championship opposition, although he has four injury concerns to contend with for this game.

The German has revealed some devastating news as Trent Alexander-Arnold (hamstring) is expected to be out for the next month, while Mohamed Salah’s foot injury continues to cause him problems. James Milner and Kostas Tsimikas will face late fitness tests after recent bouts of illness.
