White Sox To Part Ways With Hitting Coach Frank Menechino

Pedro Grifol will replace Tony La Russa as the new manager of the Chicago White Sox. He agreed to a contract yesterday. The team hasn't officially announced the hiring of Charlie Montoyo as a bench coach. Several members of LaRussa's coaching staff are leaving the organization. Frank Menechino and Jerry Narron won't return in 2023. Third base coach Joe McEwing and catching instructor Jerry Narrow will also leave. The White Sides were a generally successful offensive team during Mnechinos' tenure. They ranked 18th in runs and 19th with a .310 on-base percentage and a.387 slugging mark.
