Who's next? SEC Expansion Team Odds are out

The 2024 SEC football schedule reveal served as another reminder that in just over a year, Texas and Oklahoma will be members of the Southeastern Conference. The Longhorns and Sooners likely won’t be the last teams joining the league in the coming years. The college football arms race is fully on, with the Big Ten responding to the SEC’s expansion by adding USC and UCLA, the Big 12 courting Colorado, and seven ACC schools (Clemson, Florida State, Miami, Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina and NC State) considering breaking away from their league together.

Further expansion in the SEC seems to be a matter of not if, but who and when, so much so that Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson put together hypothetical odds as to which school will be the next to join the league where It Just Means More.

The Seminoles may be the betting favorite, but a decade ago, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Kentucky made a gentlemen’s agreement to refuse any teams from a current SEC state. Of course, that didn’t work out in Texas A&M’s favor when the league added Texas, so it’s probably moot. Plus, money talks.

Kentucky’s 2024 SEC Football Opponents Revealed

In case you missed it, last night, the SEC revealed who will play where in the 2024 football season. Dates have yet to be disclosed as some schools work to accommodate non-conference opponents. Here’s Kentucky’s draw, which features road trips to Austin and Oxford, plus the four non-conference games we already knew about:
