Xfinity Series: Pacific Office Automation 147 Betting Prediction

This week’s NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule features the Pacific Automation 147 from Portland International Raceway. This is the second running of the event that replaced the B&L Transport 170 at the Mid-Ohio SportsCar Course in Lexington. This is the only standalone event in the 2023 Xfinity Series, with the Truck Series and Cup Series races held at Gateway in Madison, IL, this weekend.

Matt Snyder will be making his first Xfinity Series start of 2023 in this race. He’s a solid road course racer and ran extremely well here in 2022, finishing second to A.J. Allmendinger.

Snyder will be driving the No. 19 car for Joe Gibbs Racing, which has performed well for Ty Gibbs and Ryan Truex this season. He should have a strong run again here in Portland, where he finished second and is one of the NASCAR Xfinity Series picks to win on Saturday.

John Hunter Nemechek is one of the championship favorites in 2023 and is the current leader in the NASCAR Xfinity Series standings with a ten-point lead over Austin Hill. He’s been historically consistent on road courses throughout his career but hasn’t had many wins.

However, he has two wins and seven top-five finishes this season and only finished outside the top ten three times in 13 events. Nonetheless, he’s one of the Pacific Automation 147 predictions to take the checkered flag.

Sammy Smith is eighth in the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series standings and picked up his only win this season at Phoenix after starting 11th. However, he finished fourth at the last Circuit of the Americas and came close to a victory at Watkins Glen at Road America in 2022.

Justin Allgaier is ranked third in the Xfinity Series standings and is heating up again after finishing in the top three in the season’s first three races. He also picked up his first win of the season last week at Charlotte after starting on the pole.

Allgaier is consistent on road courses, and his No. 7 Chevy has been running fast for JR Motorsports in the last seven races. NASCAR Xfinity Series odds make him one of the favorites to win this event.
