Zipse: Flavien Prat is taking New York by storm

Flavien Prat won three races on Saturday at Belmont Park. He is a native of France and moved to New York to improve his riding skills. The Eclipse Award for outstanding jockey has been given to a New Yorker for 12 years running. He won 246 races and earned a career-best $23,214,813. His mounts earned more than $20 million. Prats is becoming a regular rider for trainer Chad Brown. Last year he rode Domestic Spending to two Grade 1 victories. It's a partnership that almost earned Brown his elusive Kentucky Derby winner with Zandon.
