Chargers vs. Jets NFL Player Props, Odds

Two AFC squads square off to end the NFL's Week 9 and our Chargers vs. Jets NFL player props for Monday Night Football are based on the best MNF odds as we look to add to the intensity.

The New York Jets have clawed their way to a 4-3 record heading into Monday Night Football and are on the right side of a three-game winning streak even without opening-day starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They will try to snap a four-game losing skid against the Los Angeles Chargers in the final game of Week 9.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles is searching for momentum and coming into this game with a 3-4 record. The Chargers are already playing without wideout Mike Williams and will also be without fellow receiver Joshua Palmer this week.

To accompany our Chargers vs. Jets prediction, here are our best Chargers vs. Jets NFL player props for Monday Night Football (NFL odds via our best NFL betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Chargers vs. Jets NFL player props: Monday Night Football

Donald Parham Jr. Over 15.5 receiving yards (-110 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With Joshua Palmer out this week, the Chargers will be missing yet another pass catcher which opens the door for Parham to get a few more looks this week. While he remains behind Gerald Everett on the depth chart, the former XFL standout has outgained the starter in two of his last three games. Parham cashed the Over in both of those contests. In total, he has gained more than 16 yards in three games this year.

He will face a Jets defense that is allowing 47.9 yards per game to tight ends this season. Nine opposing tight ends have surpassed this mark against them so far. New York has allowed two tight ends to exceed this number in three of their seven matchups. On top of that, three New England Patriots tight ends topped 16 yards.

DraftKings also has this total, but has set the line at -115 while BetMGM and Caesars have the benchmark at 17.5 receiving yards offered at -110 odds.

Keenan Allen first to 20 receiving yards (+290 via BetMGM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Allen is averaging 11.9 yards per catch this season which means he has the potential to hit this mark on his first two receptions. The veteran wideout is in a great position to make this happen, leading the team in targets (74), receptions (54), and yards (643). With Palmer on the shelf, Allen’s workload will get a boost, increasing his opportunity to get to 20 receiving yards before anyone else.

The Jets are averaging just 3.7 plays per game on their opening possession. They totaled just 46 yards in 26 plays on their first offensive drive of the game so far this year. In fact, 34 of those yards came in their opening-week matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Even though New York wideout Garrett Wilson is averaging 12 yards per reception this season, he will likely not get the opportunity to put it to use before his opponents.

Greg Zuerlein Over 5.5 kicking points (-120 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Greg “The Leg,” Zuerlein has surpassed this number in four of his six appearances this season. He is 16-for-17 on his field goal attempts and is a perfect 6-for-6 on points after touchdowns.

He gets to take on a Chargers defense that has allowed the position to put up at least six points against them in five of seven games. Kickers are a perfect 10 of 10 on field goals and are 18-for-19 on extra-point attempts against Los Angeles this season.
