Chiefs vs Dolphins Time, Location, Streaming, Odds: Everything you need to know

We're assuming you've had this date circled for quite some time.

Week 9 in the NFL is going to be an electric one for the fan bases of the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs. It's also going to be a weird one. That's because the NFL matchup between both teams will begin early Sunday morning as both teams head to Europe to play in Germany for the first time since the league expanded its international footprint into mainland Europe.

Not only is this an international spectacle, but it's also a stellar football game on paper. Mike McDaniels has the Dolphins offense as exciting as any in the NFL with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle catching the football from Tua Tagovailoa. The Chiefs, on the other hand, have the Hall of Fame tandem of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Both teams are 6-2 and this game will actually mean a lot for the playoff picture going forward. Whoever wins this game will have the tiebreaker is what is looking like a very crowded field of competitors.

The two AFC contenders will get your Sunday football viewing experience started quite early with an 8:30 a.m. C.T. start time on Sunday, November 5. Yeah, drinking habits might be off that day.

The Chiefs and Dolphins will kick off at the Waldstadion, otherwise known as Deutsche Bank Park, in Frankfurt, Germany. It will be the first official appearance in Germany for either team.

The Chiefs opened the week, per Draft Kings, as two-point favorites over the Dolphins. That line was as wide as 5.5 points in favor of Kansas City back in May, but given that Mike McDaniel has a red-hot offense and a 6-2 record, these teams look a lot closer than ever and the Chiefs are coming off of a terrible loss to the Broncos.

If you want to watch the Chiefs face the Dolphins on television next Sunday, you can do so via the NFL Network. For those looking for ways to stream, our friends at FUBO have you covered. You can also check out YouTube for NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL+ for further streaming options.

The Dolphins and Chiefs have played a total of 31 times in their series history and Miami leads 16-15. That's because they are 3-0 against the Chiefs in the postseason, while K.C. holds a 15-13 edge in regular season games. The good news for Chiefs Kingdom here, if there are any takeaways, is that Andy Reid has never lost to Miami as the Chiefs head coach.
